I was out flying this field for a SAM account when I noticed 1 row of images didn’t show up. What I found out is that they did a trial of twin rows in the middle of this pivot. You can see in the pictures what that looks like.

I wanted to revisit this with the grower, because my stand counts I did on the twin rows were coming up about 2-3 thousand plants less/acre than the ones in the 30 inch rows.

The grower came out with me last week, but the corn was too tall so we weren’t able to take just images of the twins rows, but manual stand counts came up about the same as my original manual stand counts.

Talking further with the grower, I was able to convince him to help with weekly tissue samples to see if there are any differences that show up with the twin rows vs 30 inch rows.
