I
talked to grower, got the field VRS fertility map, see picture on crop health
and satellite map of the south end of field, see picture of south end of field
from the field note, talked about the Growing Point agronomy of N timing.
Grower is side dressing south end of field and flagging results. Grower had put
on all the N up front for 150 bushel corn but the field had 3.54 inches of rain
since May 17th planting (and was saturated prior) and also
fertilizer applicator left strips of uneven application. Talked about Granular
Encirca N tool. Droned later planted corn fields for stand assessment and to
evaluate crop health.
